Conserving a New York Scouts Reservation for All
For nearly one hundred years, the iconic Ten Mile River Scout Reservation in New York’s southern Catskill Mountains has been enjoyed by the Scouts from New York City and across America. Together with the Greater New York Councils, we launched an effort to conserve approximately 9,400 acres of the historic reservation that will secure valuable forests and streams within the Delaware River watershed. Our initial purchase last month puts this special place on a path towards becoming protected in perpetuity and accessible to all—including for continued learning activities for Scouts and other nature lovers.

Both a photographer and fisherman’s wife, Bri captures images of the incredible fishing operations, wildlife and scenic views that this important region has to offer.
